3 Things You Can Do With the New Apple iPad

apple ipad_5

The Apple iPad pretty much does it all. As a matter of fact, the only thing I think it doesn't do is make phone calls. But who knows, knowing the Apple team, that might not be too far in the future. Here are 3 things you can do with the new Apple iPad.

Browse the web- The iPad gives you the best web browsing experience ever. You can view the web in either landscape or portrait mode. No matter which way you turn it, the page automatically rotates to display everything the way it is supposed to be displayed.

Check your email- The mail app is like nothing I have ever seen before. The way you view your email is made completely natural. When viewing your email in landscape mode you will have a split-screen that allows you to view the current message and the messages in your inbox. If you want to focus on a single email just turn to portrait mode and everything will automatically rotate so that only that one message is showing.

View photos- The photos app on the iPad is simply amazing. All of your photo albums are displayed as little stacks. All you have to do is tap on the stack and it opens up. You can either view the photos as thumbnails or flip through them one at a time.

Here I have just listed 3 things you can do with this amazing device. There are certainly many more. Indeed, the iPad is changing the way we do everything.

Apple iPad - Review

You are perhaps wondering if you should spend $599 or more to buy iPad. Does the iPad in essence revolutionize the concept of a tablet computersall

The iPad is the latest gadget in Apple's family. Apple announced on January 27th, 2010 beginning of a whole new kind of computer - something what could be the most significant product launch in its history.

It looks that no one is pretty positive how to categorise the Apple iPad. It is somewhat in between a standard laptop computer and pocket computers like the iPod Touch. In other words, the iPad is something in between its iPhone and really successful MacBook line. It is a bigger and faster version of its iPod Touch.

The build quality of iPad is remarkable and nothing feels cheap. The aluminum back feels great under the finger. This device weight is 1.5 pounds and it is comfortable to hold it at most angles.

There is an audio jack connector for headphones, and a microphone for apple ipad_4apps that need it. The speaker is on the bottom of the device and the maximal speaker volume is too soft for me (I prefer to use the headphones). If you desire to fine-tune volume, the volume button is available and active when the iPad is playing something.

Beside the standard 3.5mm audio jack, the only external connector is the proprietary Apple connector. A number of accessories can be hooked up to that connector, and this is the only wired way to connect iPad to the outside world.

The majority of iPad surface is taken up by a 9.7-inch, capacitive, multitouch LED-backlit display surrounded by a smooth black bezel. The display is sharp and bright with a resolution of 1024x768. The contrast and colors are really nice and the brightness distribution is very constant in spite of the viewing angle. The glossy glass panel in front of the screen both protects it and enhances contrast. Such glossy screens are notorious for reflections, but I didn't find iPad reflections to be a problem. The iPad is easy to tilt a few degrees if are annoying.

Apple gives the iPad a truly fast processor. The iPad packs Apple's custom, PA Semi-designed 1GHz A4 system-on-a-chip -- a single Cortex A8 core coupled with a PowerVR SGX GPU. Things open quickly, scroll fast, load fast. Browsing the internet is much better than on the tiny iPhone display.

The iPad uses a built-in rechargeable Lithium-polymer battery that can provide up to ten hours of usage.

You operate the iPad by tapping and dragging on the glass with your fingers, in the same way as you operate the iPhone. Few years ago it was unbelievable that you can operate computer without help of the mouse.

The iPad runs iPhone OS 3.2 it is in fact an iPad-optimized version of the current iPhone operating system, adjusted for the iPad's larger display and new apps. The use of the iPhone operating system and its clever data-entry scheme ( virtual keyboard, multitouch gestures ) turns the iPad into much more usable device than any Windows-based tablet PC we have seen.

How Can You Get A Free Apple iPad?

If you are one of those people that really wants to get your hands on a new Apple iPad, but you don't have the money to fork over for it, your dreams are about to come true. You can get you an iPad by simply registering to be a product tester! That's right. You get it for free for testing.

Instead of having in house product testing under certain conditions, marketing companies get to hand out a certain number of free products for the general public to use and test in real life conditions. The best part is that you will get an iPad for free just so the marketing company can get your opinion by filling out a survey.apple ipad_2

Promotions like this happen when new products are being released to the public, finding a specific marketing strategy and demographic needs to happen quickly. So, they offer up testing options for people. This allows them to gather important information and, at the same time, gather more consumers who will purchase products through them. It's a win, win for both sides.

While there are plenty of scams online that tell you they will give you a free iPad if you purchase a bunch of other things through their promotional sponsors, this is not free. These sites are making you pay for other products and service so that you can get an iPad. What exactly makes that freeall That's right, it isn't.

You can become a product tester and get a free Apple iPad without having to pay a single cent. This is the only way to make sure that it is free. If a site tells you that you have to fill out a bunch of options to get other products or services then you are being taken down a long road.
